While Spalding Regional Medical Center once enjoyed an exclusive geographic position, that competitive advantage had shrunk considerably. With easy access to a nearby healthcare providers, the hospital was losing market share and lagged behind competitors in reputation. Relish Marketing – along with partner Marbury Creative – applied our comprehensive BrandFluence™ approach to brand assessment. After extensive research with stakeholders, a competitive assessment and positioning analysis, we proposed a new corporate branding system and implemented an aggressive re-positioning campaign. Internal and external stakeholders responded positively to the new brand and positioning. Employee morale significantly improved and hospital inpatient admissions and outpatient visits (including Emergency Services) increased since the campaign started.
